Curriculum Statement/Intent

At Crownfield Junior, we aim to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to meet the individual needs of all our children. We aim to remove the barriers to learning for all of the children in our care, including those with SEND or those who may be disadvantaged. Through well planned lessons, the school strives to provide the children with a curriculum that allows for progression in their skills and knowledge as well as exciting experiences and opportunities to enrich their lives. They will gain a cultural capital that expands their horizons and enables them to make positive contributions to their community and beyond. Our key values of: collaboration, curiosity, independence, resilience, respect, empathy permeate all learning. Our curriculum will celebrate diversity and promote British values so that our pupils will be prepared for life in the modern world.
