Swimming Information:

All pupils in Year 4 and Year 5 access weekly swimming lessons for 1 1/2 terms per year.

By the end of Key Stage 2, pupils should be able to:

• swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25m.
• use a range of strokes effectively.
• perform safe self-rescue in different water based situations.
