ART AND DESIGN POLICY
Our aims
We aim to enrich our pupils’ experience, knowledge and enjoyment of art by providing a well balanced, well resourced programme where children can develop understanding, skills and their own expression of art.

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY
Our aims
Design and Technology is essentially a practical subject concerned with the utilization of skills and knowledge in order to find solutions to problems in order to satisfy needs. We aim to develop our pupils’ ability to solve practical problems, determining processes and outcomes for themselves. Pupils should be able to discuss their ideas, plans and progress and record them clearly. Through a variety of creative and practical activities, pupils should be taught the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to engage in an iterative process of designing and making.
